TENSION
24 sts x 32 rows to 10cm over stocking st, using 3.75mm needles.
Note - This Jumper has been worked on bigger needles and at a lower tension than normally recommended.

yfwd= yarn forward to make a stitch.
BACK AND FRONT (both alike)
Using 3.00mm needles, cast on 50 (56-62-68-74) sts.
Knit 5 rows garter st (1st row is WS). Change to 3.75mm needles.
Work 4 rows stocking st, beg with a knit row. Knit 4 rows garter st.
Working in stocking st for rem, beg with a knit row, cont until work measures 12 (15-17-20-21) cm from beg, ending with a purl row.
Shape Raglan Armholes
Cast off 2 sts at beg of next 2 rows ... 46 (52-58-64-70) sts.
Row 1: (RS) K1, sl 1, K1 psso, yfwd, sl 1, K1, psso, knit to last 5 sts, K2tog, yfwd, K2tog, K1 ... 44 (50-56-62-68) sts.
Row 2: Purl.
Row 3: K2, yfwd, sl 1, K1, psso, knit to last 4 sts, K2tog, yfwd, K2.
Row 4: As Row 2. Repeat last 4 rows 4 (4-2-2-2) times, then Row 1 once ... 34 (40-50-56-62) sts.
Next row: As Row 2.
Next row: As Row 1. Repeat last 2 rows until 26 (28-28-30-32) sts rem, ending with a dec row.
Next row: (WS) Purl. Leave rem sts on a stitch-holder for Neckband.
SLEEVES
Using 3.00mm needles, cast on 33 (35-37-39-43) sts. Knit 5 rows garter st (1st row is WS). Change to 3.75mm needles.
Work 8 rows stocking st, beg with a knit row and inc one st at each end of 1st row,sizes 0 and 3 months only - then in foll 4th (6th) row.
All sizes ... 37 (39-39-41-45) sts.
Knit 4 rows garter st,sizes 0, 6, 12 and 18 months only - inc one st at each end of 1st (1st, 1st, 3rd) row.All sizes ... 39 (39-41-43-47) sts.
Working in stocking st for rem, beg with a knit row, inc one st at each end of 1st (1st-5th-5th-9th) row, then in every foll 4th (6th-8th-8th-10th) row until there are 43 (45-47-51-55) sts. Cont without shaping until Sleeve measures 11 (13-16-19-21)cm from beg, ending with a purl row.
Shape Raglan
Cast off 2 sts at beg of next 2 rows ... 39 (41-43-47-51) sts.
Row 1: (RS) K1, sl 1, K1, psso, yfwd, sl 1, K1, psso, knit to last 5 sts, K2tog, yfwd, K2tog, K1 ... 37 (39-41-45-49) sts.
Row 2: Purl.
Row 3: K2, yfwd, sl 1, K1, psso, knit to last 4 sts, K2tog, yfwd, K2.
Row 4: As Row 2. Repeat last 4 rows 0 (1-1-1-1) time/s, then Row 1 once ... 35 (35-37-41-45) sts.
Next row: As Row 2.
Next row: As Row 1. Repeat last 2 rows until 11 sts rem, ending with a dec row.
Next row: (WS) Purl. Leave rem 11 sts on a stitch-holder for Neckband.
NECKBAND
Using mattress st, join raglan seams, leaving left back raglan open and noting that tops of Sleeves form part of Neckline. With RS facing, using 3.75mm needles, K11 from left sleeve stitch-holder, K26 (28-28-30-32) from Front stitch-holder, K11 from right sleeve stitch-holder, then K26 (28-28-30-32) from back stitch-holder ... 74 (78-78-82-86) sts.
Knit 3 rows garter st (1st row is WS). Change to 3.00mm needles. Work 8 rows stocking st, beg with a knit row. Knit 4 rows garter st. Cast off loosely purlways.
TO MAKE UP
With a slightly damp cloth and warm iron, press lightly on WS if desired. Using mattress st, join left back raglan and Neckband seam. Join side and Sleeve seams.
