- Baby Wonder 8ply 100g - 2, 2, 2, 3 balls Main Colour (M) and 1 ball Contrast Colour (CC)
- 1 pair of 4.00mm knitting needles or size needed for correct tension
- 4 stitch holders, scissors, yarn needle, tape measure, 5 (6-6-6) buttons.

TENSION
22 sts x 30 rows to 10cm over stocking st, using 4.00mm needles.
INSTRUCTIONS
BACK
Using 4.00mm needles and CC, cast on 52 (58-64-70) sts.
Knit 5 rows (1st row is wrong side).
Using M, knit 2 rows.
Using CC, knit 2 rows.
Rep last 4 rows once.
Using M for rem, work 30 (36-42-48) rows stocking st.
Shape Raglan Armholes
Cast off 2 (2-3-3) sts at beg of next 2 rows ... 48 (54-58-64) sts.
3rd row - K2, yfwd, (sl 1, K1, psso) twice, knit to last 6 sts, (K2tog) twice yfwd, K2.
4th row - Purl ... 46 (52-56-62) sts.
Rep last 2 rows until 18 (20-22-24) sts rem.
Leave rem 18 (20-22-24) sts on a stitch holder.
LEFT FRONT
Using 4.00mm needles and CC, cast on 31 (34-37-40) sts.
Knit 5 rows (1st row is wrong side).
6th row - Using M, knit to last 3 sts, K2tog, yfwd (to make a st), knit to end ... 1st buttonhole.
7th row - Knit to end.
Using CC, knit 2 rows.

Shape Raglan Armholes
Cast off 2 (2-3-3) sts, purl to end ... 29 (32-34-37) sts.
2nd row - Knit to last 6 sts, (K2tog) twice, yfwd, K2.
3rd row - Purl to last 5 sts, K5 ... 28 (31-33-36) sts.
Rep last 2 rows until 15 (16-17-18) sts rem.
Next row - Knit to last 6 sts, (K2tog) twice, yfwd, K2 ... 14 (15-16-17) sts.
Leave rem 14 (15-16-17) sts on a stitch holder.
SLEEVES
Using 4.00mm needles and CC, cast on 24 (26-28-28) sts.
Knit 5 rows (1st row is wrong side).
Using M, knit 2 rows.
Using CC, knit 2 rows.
Rep last 4 rows once.
Using M for rem and working in stocking st for rem, inc one st at each end of next row, then in every foll alt (4th- 4th-4th) row until there are 30 (40-38-50) sts, then in every foll 4th (6th- 6th-6th) row until there are 38 (42-46-52) sts.
Cont in patt without further inc until work measures 13 (16-19-21) cm from beg, ending with a purl row.
Shape Raglan -
Cast off 2 (2-3-3) sts at beg of next 2 rows ... 34 (38-40-46) sts.
3rd row - K2, yfwd, (sl 1, K1, psso) twice, knit to last 6 sts, (K2tog) twice yfwd, K2.
4th row - Purl.
5th row - K2, yfwd, sl 1, K1, psso, knit to last 4 sts, K2tog, yfwd, K2.
6th row - Purl ... 32 (36-38-44) sts.
Rep last 4 rows 0 (0-1-0) times ... 32 (36-36-44) sts.
Next row - K2, yfwd, (sl 1, K1, psso) twice, knit to last 6 sts, (K2tog) twice yfwd, K2.
Next row - Purl ... 30 (34-34-42) sts.
Rep last 2 rows until 8 (8-10-10) sts rem.
Leave rem 8 (8-10-10) sts on a stitch holder for band.
NECKBAND
DO NOT PRESS. Using mattress stitch join raglan seams noting that tops of sleeves form part of band. With RS facing, using 4.00mm needles and CC, beg at right front edge, knit across 14 (15-16-17) sts from right front stitch holder, knit across 8 (8-10-10) sts evenly across top of right sleeve stitch holder, knit across 18 (20-22-24) sts from back neck stitch holder, knit across 8 (8-10-10) sts from left sleeve stitch holder, then knit across 14 (15-16-17) sts from left front stitch holder... 62 (66-74-78) sts.
Knit 1 row.
Using M, 3rd row - Knit to last 3 sts, yfwd, K2tog, knit to end.
Knit 1 row.
Using CC, Knit 2 rows.
Using M, Knit 2 rows.
Using CC, Knit 2 rows.
Cast off knitways.
FINISHING
Join side and sleeve seams. Sew buttons onto right front to match button holes. Sew in ends.
