Do you have any tips for creating wedding favours?

Wedding favours are traditionally left for guests to provide them with a special treat to remember your special day. Whether you prefer the traditional sugared almonds or something a little more unique such as macarons or cake pops, edible favours are a fail-safe option. Whereas, a useful or practical gift can also be a success. You could also reflect your personality or yours and your future spouse’s favourite hobbies, such as miniature bottles of wine for the connoisseurs or golf balls for couples that spend all of their time on the green.

Whatever you choose to give as a favour, personalised packaging and beautiful presentation will make all the difference. Be creative with your colour scheme in mind, or keep it simple for an elegant affair. Be practical and reasonable, if it takes a long time just to do one favour, and your guest list is huge, then your ideas might not be possible. If your guest list is particularly big why not get the rest of the wedding party around, get a few bottles of wine in and some nibbles, and host a favour-creating party. The work will seem a lot easier when you and the gang are creating them whilst gossiping over Prosecco.

What else can I do with these favours?

While this collection of gorgeous items are designed for an amazing party or beautiful wedding, these gorgeous decorative items could be used for so much more. The only limit truly is your imagination. Polyester petals would look fabulous strewn across the floor for a special Valentine’s treat, or even in a gift box for some creative gift wrapping that is guaranteed to impress. The Place Cards could be really be used for any event, and these are also a great teaching supply! Write each of your student's names on a place card, and you can easily rearrange and change your seating plan as you so wish. Whereas, the Chalkboard hearts are super cute and would make gorgeous decorative items within your home. If your handwriting is up to the job, why not write the names of each room and hang on the door for a dash of rustic charm. Ribbon can be used in your hair, textile crafts, gift wrapping and much, much more!
