Can I purchase drinkware at Spotlight?

Ideal for use in the kitchen, at your home bar, in the dining room or even outside in the garden, just choose the style, size and material suitable for your needs.
Are glasses included in the range?
Yes, there is a wide selection of glassware including wine glasses, champagne flutes, beer glasses, tumblers for spirits or soft drinks, tea glasses, dessert bowls and coupes, jugs and more. Glasses are usually categorised as stemware (wine glasses, champagne flutes, some beer glasses) or barware (spirit tumblers, soft drink glasses, beer glasses without foot, etc.). Choose from plain glass, coloured glass, and even crystal for special occasions.
What should I look out for when buying glassware?
Some people prefer the feel of thin glass, specially for fine wines and spirits, while others prefer a chunky, thicker glass. If you want to save yourself the work of washing up, make sure your glassware is dishwasher-safe. The fashion currently is for glasses to be quite large, so make sure the stems are not too tall for your dishwasher! Coloured tumblers, for instance for water, can make an attractive addition to your table setting, especially if you colour coordinate them with your table linen, crockery or cutlery.
Which wine is served in which glass?
Of course, you can drink wine from any glass you like, but for the correct presentation at a dinner party, choose the following glassware:
Red Wine: The bowls of red wine glasses will be fuller and rounder with a larger opening than other wine glasses in order to allow you to dip your nose into the glass to detect aroma. The bowl style is also imperative because the complex aromas and flavours of red wine demand a glass with a larger surface area to ensure that the wine comes in contact with more air.
White Wine: The bowls of white wine glasses will be more U shaped and upright than those of a red wine glass, allowing the aromas to be released while also maintaining a cooler temperature.
Sparkling Wine: A sparkling wine or champagne glass (or flute, as they are more commonly known) will be upright and narrower than most wine glasses to retain the carbonation and capture the flavour in the wine.
It is also possible to get special Rose wine glasses, and glasses for fortified wine such as port.
What else is included in the range?
Our selection of glassware also includes carafes, jugs and drinks dispensers, from a stylish carafe and glass for bedside use – ideal for guest rooms – to lemonade or punch dispensers for your party or family gathering.
