Can I wash my projects made with craft felt?

That depends on lots of things, including the type of felt that you have used and the other components of your project. Most experts would recommend spot washing felt with a soft cloth or sponge and a little bit of detergent. Felt can be delicate but if you do choose to wash it because it is particularly, it is much better to hand wash your project in cold water. Completely submerge your item in a mixture of cold water and detergent, allowing the felt to soak for a few minutes. Work out the stains using your fingers. Due to the absorbent properties of felt, it is very important that you have wring out as much excess water as possible. If not this can get trapped and possibly result in mould. Allow your project to air dry in the shade, to avoid sun damage, and keep away from harsh chemicals such as chlorine and bleach at all times.
